Different parking facilities—and even different stalls within the same lot—serve different driver needs. A short-term retail lot needs quick 30-minute and 1-hour options, while a commuter or event lot benefits from multi-hour and All Day presets.
Configuring Location & Spot Rates in ParkingBreeze
ParkingBreeze gives operators straightforward rate controls in the dashboard:
- Default Location Rate: Set the standard hourly rate and maximum parking duration for each location.
- Custom Duration Presets: Define custom duration buttons (in minutes, hours, or All Day 1440-minute options) shown on the driver checkout screen.
- Individual Spot Overrides: Assign specific hourly rates to premium or reserved spots within a location, each with its own spot-specific QR code.
Upfront Price Breakdown for Drivers
Before completing payment, drivers see a clear breakdown of the base parking rate, any applicable service fee, and the total amount due on their mobile screen.
